Type of a scam Online Purchase
After the money was received i got another email to send another $150 USD as the card was now $500 USD. I sent an email stated that i was told the card is $300USD. If that wasn't available then i want a refund as i do not want the $500USD card. They did not refund the money and my emails are not answered.
I was contacted by another person on Facebook John O'Connor. He claimed that he is in the Military and he can help me to get my money back by contacting the Fraud department. He gave me an email address to contact and to give information. Got a reply stated to send a $100 Apple Gift card. They will get back my money double. I got suspicious from all the messages from John O'Connor he kept pressuring me to get the gift card so they can work on my case. I told him i will not buy any gift card so he could buy it. He refused but couple days later he said he would buy it. He sent me a snap shot of a card instructing me to send to the fraud email address that he had given me. I did not follow his instructions and i blocked him on Facebook.
