This business owner accepted money for a hair appointment deposit. She then rescheduled my appointment without my consent, and then told me the day before she needed to cancel due to an emergency. As per her online booking policy, in the event of her cancelling, I was entitled to a refund. I requested one, rather than rebook with her because she was unreliable. She told me she would refund the money to my card in 2-3 days. A week later I had not received the refund, nor had I heard from her so I contacted her again, and got no response. Over the following week, I reached out 3 more times, and only received a reply when I informed her I would report her business. She then proceeded to deny that she had offered me the refund, tell me that I had not cancelled my appointment, blame me for not providing her with the correct information (which was provided multiple times), and tell me to dispute the charge with my bank. She was extremely rude, and finally issued the refund after many messages back and forth in which she refused to send the money. My concern is that she has an option on her site to pay for the appointment in full, and had I done that, the amount would've been much higher. I have screenshots and proof of everything.
