Thanks for your website. I am reporting the information in this form because I was scammed yesterday. I was looking for an italian greyhound to join my family. These people assured me that they would fly one from Arizona to my front door step in whitby. This was no the case. They first asked me to fill out a bunch of questions (similar to what legitamite breeders/sellers do). After that they asked me to send them an e-transfer for $1500.00 CAD. I sent that to them on this email: [email protected]
They continously acted like they cared about the well being of the puppies so much, and when I said I didn't feel good about sending an interact e transfer as a secure payment method, they said we trust us to raise this puppy, and you should trust us that we are not scammers, they also said they are a christian family. They said everything was great and sent me the bill of sale (attached), they also sent me some other information I am also attaching. They told me that they would send the puppy the next morning. As it was time to "pass through customs", I got an email from Happy Tails Travels, letting me know that my puppy is ready but I need to pay $1040.00 USD for puppy insurance. This is when I stopped and realized this was a scam. These people robbed me of $1500.00 and it really sucks that there is no way of recovering this money. They kept calling me and I gave them an earful and hung up. After filling this form out I am filing a police report. Thanks for your time.
