I found her on Facebook. On 10/25/24, I messaged her about the price of a pug. She told me $650.00 with $300.00 down payment to be transferred by Zelle. When the Zelle didn't go through, she told me to get an Amex gift card and take pictures of it and message it to her. I did that. We agreed on 11/3/24 for delivery. On 10/28/24, she messaged me to say that I needed to send her $300.00, with $150.00 for the registration cost of the puppy and the other $150.00 going towards the remaining amount. I did comply. She told me the remaining $200.00 to be paid upon receiving the puppy. On 11/03/24, she messaged me to say the puppy was in route to be transported to me through a transport company called Secureshipment.org, and wanted the remaining $200.00. I did comply with that. A few hours later, Secureshipment.org texted me and told me that it was mandatory for the Puppy to be insured and told me I had to send them $500.00 that would be refunded upon receiving the puppy. I did comply. I was told the puppy was on her way to me. About two hours later, I got another text from the shipment company and told me I needed to send them 700.00 for the crate rental, and 75% will be refunded back to me. I did comply. I was assured that no more fees, but it would be the next day before the puppy would be transported. On 11/4/24, about 11:00, I got another text from secureshipment.org telling me by law the puppy must be fully vaccinated and that would be another $1000.00. I told them the breeder told me the puppy was vaccinated. I was told there was no proof of it and in order for the puppy to be transported to me. I did comply, and once again, assured that the puppy is on her way to me. Three hours later, another text telling the puppy needs to be USDA certified and they need $1300.00!!. I told them I won't send one more penny to them.

I initiated contact through the website requesting more info about one of the available puppies, Luna. Within a day I received a reply from Henry Stones via email and text. The email contained several adorable pictures of the puppy as well as some videos. After a few more back and forth emails, I decided to purchase the puppy and asked that she be reserved. In order to reserve her and so Henry could arrange for the shipping via certified transport and draw up our contract, I needed to pay for her. He asked if I preferred to pay via Zelle, PayPal or Apple Pay. I said Apple Pay thinking that since it was linked to a credit card if by some chance this was a scam I would have recourse with the CC. It turned out that he wanted me to pay through Apple Cash, which I didn’t have set up. Stupidly, I went so far as to add a debit card to my account so I could fund my Apple Cash. When I tried to pay, I received an alert that it might be a scam. Henry had warned me about this though saying it would pop up bc I had never had a transaction with him. At the last second I checked to see if it was a scam and thankfully found this info on the ScamPulse.com site. I should have known it was too good to be true.

She stated she is a breeder and had puppies ready for adoption. My husband and I selected 2 puppies, (male & female) to adopt. She wrote up a bill of sales. Total cost of $800 for puppies and delivery to my home. $125 per puppy for security deposit to pull of the market and $200 per puppy as deposit with $150 remaining to be paid upon delivery on July 20, 2014 at 2pm. I got a message this morning from Patricia stating that her mom passed away this morning and is not able to bring them herself but will go through a company that she has used numerous times. Then when I was contacted by the company that was to deliver my puppies they stated that I have to pay $800 for a crate fee that will be refunded when the puppies are delivered. I contacted Patricia back and informed her that I was not paying that. She said she didn’t have the money to pay either. I told her that I willing pick up the puppies myself . She then stated that they were already picked up by the company and they have already registered the shipment so it can’t be canceled. I contacted that company via chat on their website (primecargoshipping.online) and at first they stated it could be canceled with a $300 cancellation fee but then later in the conversation they said can’t be canceled and crate fee needs to be made or I will be reported for pet abandonment. Then after speaking to Patricia again I told her to just refund me the $650 per the contract states I’m able to get if requested. She they said she sent the $650 to the shipping company and trying to get the other $150. She kept asking me to pay it and I told I was not going to do that. I then called the shipping company asking for visual proof by taking a picture show date and time of the puppies. They said that was not a problem, hour later with nothing from them my husband called and asked for the same thing and they hung up on him. At the same time Patricia was messaging in stating she was still trying to get the other $150. I told her that at this point I want a full refund of the $650 that I sent her per our contact I am legally obligated to get. She stated asking why and I told her if I didn’t get my refund I was calling the police and report her on bbb as well as Facebook. He then blocked me and I believe she deleted her facebook account or blocked me so I can’t find her account anymore. She also blocked or deleted the group page she was using to scam people with the puppies. She was list as an admin to that group page.

Through a website I contacted about purchasing a puppy. Was told that $600 would be the cost of the puppy delivered to my home, no additional fees. Once I paid the $600 I was then told I would have to pay an additional $995 for pet travel insurance. When I argued that but asked how to pay I was informed via two $500 apple gift cards. I refused and reached back out to the seller stating this insurance should be his responsibility and if he wasn't going to pay it and ship my dog then to refund my money. Nobleteacupyorkieshome.com.

I was looking to parchase a chi, I filled out the form online, and they contacted me by message and email. I signed a purchase agreement, and they sent the dog with a transporter. The next day, they transportation company emailed me, saying I needed to pay $500 to put the dog in an appropriate crate, which seemed strange. I immediately wrote to the seller and let them know about the situation, stating that the transporter shouldn't have taken the dog if it wasn't in the proper crate.

After spending all day yesterday trying to resolve the issue, their responses were more about getting more money for the crate, which they supposedly would refund after sending me the dog. I told the seller to ask them to return the dog because I didn't have $500 and it wasn't part of the contract, but they kept insisting on more money. Yesterday, I wrote that I needed either my money or the dog and they never responded.

I was contacted through a Facebook Group by one of their "administrators" stating he is a dog breeder. There were numerous posts by other people in the group giving good reviews about him. He told me the puppy would cost $500 total, and then asked me to pay him $300 for the deposit of the puppy. I paid him $300 through Zelle and after receiving my payment, he told me that he would need an additional $200 for the paperwork and registration fees for the puppy. I stated that this extra $200 was never told to me from the beginning, and then clarified with him that I would not be asked to pay any additional money after this. He confirmed that. He then told me he was dropping the puppy off with the shipment company. He sent me a link to their website and a tracking number. I was then contacted by the shipment company via text message and was told that I needed to pay $600 to rent a crate for the puppy, or $1500 to buy the crate from them. And that I would be refunded the difference of the crate once the puppy was delivered to me. That's when I became very suspicious. I contacted the telephone number listed on the shipping company's website several times and the telephone number rang once and went to voicemail. I was then called back from the telephone number that had texted me and they asked me once again to pay for the crate fee. I told them I would not pay them unless it was through PayPal or if it was directly through the shipping company's secure website portal. They said they would only take Cash App, or offered for me to make a payment through flutterwave.com, a company that originates in Africa and accepts credit card payments. After this, I ran a search on the shipment company, https://unitedlogisticscargofreight.com, to find an article on Petscams.com stating "You are, at this very moment, being targeted in what is known as an “Advance fee fraud” scheme. Operating under the guise of a legitimate delivery company, Unitedlogisticscargofreight.com is, in fact, a front for this nefarious fraudulent operation." The original contact would not offer me a refund.

Reached out to me via text after a web inquiry about a puppy on her website. Had me fill out info, including drivers license and SSN due to the paperwork for the AKC. Had me send a deposit via Venmo of $300. Then I found out this site is a scam and accused her of this and she offered to send me money back. Once money cleared my account she no longer answers calls or texts.

Bassett breeder posted they had Bassett hounds to sell. They asked for 1/2 down and then the rest in person. The breeder insisted they deliver because they liked to see where their puppies were going. We settled on Thursday the 26th. He said he was coming from Mobile. Today, Tuesday morning the 24th I get a message that he was registering the dog to be shipped. I wasn't sure why he was doing this as we had agreed on Thursday not Tuesday. He gave some story about his grandson and he wasn't able to make the trip today. I reminded him that we had agreed on Thursday. He said he was already at the shipping company and he'd just go ahead and send the puppy. I said ok. Next thing I know I'm getting a message from the shipping company that I needed to send a $600 fee through apple pay for the shipping and that it would most likely be refundable. I refused as this was not our agreement. I'm pretty certain the shipping company didn't exist either. You could only find it online if you used the link they sent. We ended up having a conversation on facebook messenger call and he was extremely rude and said he was going to turn me in for animal abandonment. He said that since the dog was sitting at the shipping company and I refused to pay the extra $600 then I was abandoning the dog. He also told me I was a rude and a disrespectful woman and that he wanted to speak to my husband. It appears that not only does the dog not exist but that this man is operating a business that doesn't exist but he's also running at least one business that doesn't exist

My Grandmother lost her husband a while back and was wanting a companion. She got a paper from our local shelter and Beryl Teacup was attached to the link under Yorkies. After conversing, she felt comfortable going through with it, so i helped her. We sent a $300 deposit, then a week later sent the remaining $450 to have the puppy flow out to us. They told us they would finish the sales contract and flight paperwork and get back to us. They then asked for an additional $900.00 for "insurance" and that it would be refunded after the flight. She asked them to refund her money and they told us they would send it back if we povided a paypal, zelle, or cashapp that they could send back the $600 since they had already paid for the plane ticket. I have been unable to get the refund back from them yet.
