I purchased a coat for my wife's birthday, and when it eventually arrived ( from China - which I had no idea it was being made there ) it was the wrong size, wrong colour, badly made, and the fleece lining was no as described or shown on Retrolinen's website. The website appears to be a North American site, but in reality it is a scam drop ship company **** ***** with bad suppliers. When I complained to the company about the coat they said I could get a refund if I sent the garment back to China!.....( the mailing address on the package was from Ontario! ) which was going to cost $90.00 CAN by mail. As the coat cost $65.00 it was not worth it, and I also didn't think I would get my money back in the end even if I did send it back. So after a few very rude email's from Retrolinen the company said they would give me a 10% refund or a gift card for $19.00 off my next purchase. They also said if they gave me a full refund they would loose their profit on the transaction! All the communication was cut and paste, so obviously this is an ongoing problem with this company.

I just wanted other consumers to be aware that Retrolinen is a scam drop ship company that does not stand behind their products, and relies on customers just giving up with frustration to get their money back. I did use PayPal to purchase the garment, so they are looking into it for me and hopefully I may get my money back eventually. But North American financial institutions should not have to be the ones to pay for scam ******* companies like Retrolinen.
