I received an email from what looked like UPS stating I have a package that was unable to be delivered. There was a link in the email contents that I was to use to click to enter in my updated address I guess, and then it said I needed to pay $1.90 to have it redelivered. I thought it seemed weird but I was like ok $1.90 isn't horrible so I entered in my card info and then some other website popped up with these SWEEPSTAKES offers which I have learned in the past they are scams so I click NO THANKS on the bottom of the page and then closed it out. I then went into my banking app and there was a charge for $29.90 from BOLDPROGRESSOUTLETCLUB which I have NEVER HEARD OF. So I went to their website and found a contact number and called them to see what I was charged for and the lady said the charge was for a SWEEPSTAKES ENTERY for an IPAD PRO or something and I said I DID NOT enter any sweepstakes, in fact I specifically DID NOT enter the sweepstakes when it popped up. And I proceeded to ask how they even got my card information because I entered my card info in for what was supposed to be for UPS redelivery for $1.90 so obviously you guys are doing scams and I want a refund. She kept asking me for MY information and I kept telling her that I do NOT have an account with BOLDPROGRESSOUTLETCLUB and I have never even heard of them or been to their website except to look for contact information to call. I had to ask repeatedly for a refund or to speak with a supervisor but there was nobody available of course so she put in a "ticket' for a supervisor to call me within 24-48 hours to address my concerns. This is crazy to me that they can do this, I don't understand how they can charge my debit card any amount. I guess it's my fault I should have called or contacted UPS but it seemed legit. But i was wrong. And I have copies of the email and the charge on my card but for some reason it won't let me upload them.
