I was scammed by Trademark Paramount (www.trademarkparamount.com) when I was looking for trademark filing services. I was approached by customer service through the website's live chat, who obtained my phone information. After some time, they started calling me and tried to convince me of their extensive knowledge of the trademark process. They lied to me that the USPTO assigns mandatory classes for trademark and that each class cost $350 and had to be paid upfront directly to the USPTO. They scammed me into paying $149 for the filing services, only to reach out to me the next day claiming that the USPTO had assigned me three classes and I now had to pay $1050 plus taxes for the next step of the process. A few days later, they sent you a mock screenshot from the USPTO, claiming that I needed to pay an extra fee of $1550 for Trademark Attestation. However, when I contacted the USPTO, they confirmed that there was no such thing as a mandatory fee, nor a fee for Trademark Attestation, and that Trademark Paramount only paid $250 for one class application instead of the three classes they claimed to have applied for. The USPTO also confirmed that the applicant chooses the classes they want to apply for and that the USPTO does not charge any taxes. The USPTO confirmed that their phone number is register under a unrelated business in a different field (*************************). In other words, they just filled for one class that seems to be legitimate, but only with the idea of scamming me an extra $1550 for "attestation" I still not sure in the one class application they did will work out for my bussiness.

I strongly advise against using Trademark Paramount (www.trademarkparamount.com) for any trademark filing services and urge others to be cautious of similar scams.
