We were contacted to purchase art merchandise to be shipped overseas to Vietnam. We were told that the items were headed for a church. The scammer said he liked to use PTexpress. We were provided with a credit card and we charged the amount agreed to. The merchandise value was around $5000 and the shipping would have been around $1500. When we were asked to wire the money directly to an account in Maryland, we got suspicious and started researching. The office address that they request us to send money to looked highly suspicious and the whole thing just didn’t feel right. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is. I found this similar case on the Better Business Bureau today and decided to report my experience as well. Needless to say, I will not be wearing any money to ptexpressint.com .
