Online REWARDS Package Brushing and Phishing Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

My husband received a package in the mail -(USPS Ground Advantage). This package contained 7 random items, (1) Dez-comp Journal, Gai-Stretch Strap, PE-771 Tri Axis Pocket Pedometer, (2) strobe-safety light clip, (2) Zulay-Lunch Bags. My husband DID NOT order these. When I started investigating the package and the packing slip, I noticed the Company Name - Online Rewards showed a PO Box , but yet when I look the company up, they showed a physical address. The packing slip also did not indicate a phone number. When I did more research as to why I would have received a random package, I found this response: "If you received a package you didn't order, it's most likely due to a "brushing scam," where sellers send unsolicited items to random addresses to artificially inflate their online reviews by using your name and address to write positive reviews, even though you never bought anything from them; this is considered a fraudulent practice and you should be cautious about your personal information being compromised."
