SJunkie.co offers to pay for downloading apps, taking surveys, and sharing a personalized link with others to lure others into signing up for the website. After completing a certain number of “tasks,” the user becomes eligible to cash out their earnings. The tasks take considerable time and effort, and in some cases cost money to complete, but the promise is that all this money an more will be paid back once eligible. Well, I bought into it, and according to the platform, I have earned over $3000. The site says the money comes from third party advertisers and other clickbait revenue. So I requested my cash outs. Next, it gives a list of check marks that must be verified in order to receive the cash out, and a date is set for payment. However, the date for payment keeps getting pushed back to a later date every time that date arrives. The site claims it’s “still verifying fake invites,” but all invites are based on sharing the personalized link. After reading reviews online, I’ve found some that appear to be fake stating that money was received without delay, but most reviews are now saying this is a problem with many users, that the money that was earned by spending time and money completing these “tasks” and sharing the link to recruit others to join is not being compensated per the written agreement when signing up. This site either needs to make good on it’s promised payments, or be shut down permanently and a class action lawsuit filed against the company that runs the site.
