I was trying to book a ticket via Moroccan train https://www.oncf.ma/en/Home. Then as I proceeded to my booking their website popped up and I only found out that I put the payment information there as I received the email with the receipt . While I did receive an invoice with tickets the behavior is predatory in nature.

On November 14, 2023, I purches round trip air fear ticket from JFK to South Caroliner for a total of $303.00 including tax.

On November 15, 2023, a Fare Barber employee contacted me saying that the $303.00 I paid for the air fear via their agency, was no longer available and if I wanted to keep the booking I needed to pay an additional $49.00.

I told here that It was advertised for a price I paid for and could not understand how the price could change after I made the payment?

My itinerary documentation and confirmation from my credit card company shows that my payment transaction was correct. However, the credit card company advice that their was two transactions made on my card, one payment to the airline and another to for Fare Barber for $49.00.

Needleless to say that I was not going to fall for the bait and switch tactic and canceled the transaction.

My business trip was badly inconvenience by Fare Barber business practice.

I booked a cheap flight. 2 seats for 500. Got a confirmation email that it was in progress. The next day . They canceled booking. When i called i was informed that they overbooked so gave my seats/price to a family of 4. But i can pay 1289 for same economy seats if i want to be on same flights. Price switch is very upsetting.

I booked 4 plane tickets with this website provided my credit card and receive email that order is pending, once I call them to confirm I was information that unfortunately, the airline did not have enough tickets at this price and they can only sell them at much higher prices or find similar with other airlines for a different price that I declined.

I checked their website a few hours later, and that original offer was still on their website, their excuse was to tell me that the website has not been updated.

They are a fake airline booking website that are quite known if you just google there name. They have fake reviews as the first link that pops up in a google search, the links under the first one are the real reviews

The issue reported is a a sophisticated scam scheme with a fake flight ticket agency currently using name/domain "https://www.mangoflights.com".

Previous name was "http://airtrvl.com/" (you can check they are the same on archive.org, e.g. https://web.archive.org/web/20220429230341/http://airtrvl.com/ )

The way they work is:

- advertise on Facebook & co promising big discounts

- convince the "customer" the credit card is not working and they need to make a bank transfer to a Lithuania bank account

- reinvest part of the "incomes" in bogus reviewers

- this is the most scaring part, there are hundreds if not thousand of fake reviews, leading to most "trust" site giving the site a 100% trust

- when enough customers start flagging the site, they move to a new domain

- note the current one looks like 14 years old, but in reality it was on sale and bougth just a few months ago (again, this can be verified on archive.org).

I have a close friend that got fished for a flight to Argentina, of course he never got the flight ticket.

This company answer and pretent to be westjet in this case. Lied to me saying my tickets were not confirmed and they have to re issue them. asked for my credit card to pay just for the taxes but ended up taking 4 times the amount mentioned on the phone. I was just calling to confirm the status pof the flights and I believed their lies and this happened.

I purchased what I thought was 6 airline tickets for $1800. Right after the purchase (after putting in credit card info etc.) I got a call from the company saying those tickets were no longer available and they could bump me up to the main cabin for $800 more. Told them no and they proceeded to call and text me over the next 2 days. Lowered the price several times but was still higher than what I had expected to pay. Typical bait and switch. Currently my credit card has not been charged but I’m watching it closely.

Attempted to change booking information for flight. Their company came up via suggested ad with phone number. They claimed they were affiliated with my airline however they are not. They charged me $40 initially claiming this was the tax amount of my purchase and I would later be charged for the amount of $180. They said they would follow up with an email confirmation "in a few hours". Their website has 0 reviews, and no external links to other platforms such as twitter or instagram.

Got 2 airline tix for $423.90 TOTAL on 3/5. Received their garbage "confirmation" stating "Note:-fares are not guaranteed until ticketed in rare event fares may increase or any issue to book it online.

you will receive a call from our expert you may opt to cancel your booking by contacting our customer support desk," but no e-tickets after several hours. Called their "24/7" line but they never answered. Called next day and they said "it takes time to process, but we have available flights at the same times for $463 EACH. Immediately cancelled and asked for a confirmation but haven't gotten that either. Surprise.

Hotel Scanner inserted their travel engine into the google travel results for a hotel I selected. I followed the link and made a reservation.

I was looking for a villa to rent out for a couple of days in the Dominican Republic and came across the site VillasRD.net on 06/16/2022 and inquired about one of the villas to see if it was available from 12/17/2022 - 12/19/2022 (Link to villa is: https://www.villasrd.net/en/1743329/luxury-beachfront-villa-in-las-terrenas).Aft... submitting my inquiry I was connected with an individual named Richard Joel Castillo Figuereo. He proceeded with providing me information about the Villa and quoted me at $6,000 for the stay. Before I submitted payment he provided me an invoice detailing the dates, name of the villa and terms of payment which included 50% payment to reserve the villa and 50% payment 1 month before check in. I sent the first payment on 6/29/2022. On 11/16/2022 I completed the payments. When the day came and I, along with 25 family members and friends, were 10 minutes away from the villa Richard responded to my messages after not responding for 2 days and told me that he accidentally had me booked for the wrong dates and that the villa wasn't available. Out of luck I did manage to find accommodations for us and found another Villa I had to come out of my pocket for. He apologized and said that he would refund me my payment by 12/19/2022. Months have passed and he has been avoiding my messages and calls. I did further research and found I was not the only victim of this individuals fraudulent practices. I came across an article (Link: https://cdn.com.do/nacionales/denuncian-empresa-villasrd-estafa-clientes-en-rent... that states this company defrauded a family out of $5,500 last year. Aslong as this individual has this website up he will continue to defraud Americans and individuals from all over out of thousands of dollars. He needs to be brought to justice.

I booked a ticket for my grandson with booking.com and in the ticket his first name came together with tittle MR. I was searching for Lufthansa airlines number in google to correct his name and it was diverted to Flightsassist and their agent lied that it was Lufthansa and the name was incorrect in the ticket so he would not be able to board the flight. He offered to cancel this ticket and create new one and charged from my credit card $1157.08 and sent me back the same ticket that I had before with same ticket #, same conformation # with same first name that was with letters of his tittle MR and assured that in the system his name is correct and the money for first ticket will be refund to my credit card but they never refunded. Feeling suspicious I called Lufthansa and they confirmed that my grandson's initial name was good and there was no change made to the ticket from Flightsassist . I called couple times to Flightsassist and spoke with their manager and he assured that to get refund from Lufthansa take about 3-4 months. I opened a dispute in my Chase bank for these charges and get my money back but I continue to get emails from Collection Executive of this company : Titus Hudson with a request to repay the loss incurred by Flightsassist and with threats to forward my account to their Legal team for further Legal proceedings as per law. I found on website : scammer.info that this company using multiple websites and phone numbers and operating in USA, UK and Canada defrauding unsuspecting people who wand to book flights and they recommend to report to the UK's Action Fraud website: https://www.actionfraud.police.uk.

I was helped by a guy named Rocky to purchase airline tickets on the Roaming Mood website. The money was taken from my bank account but when I got to the airport, I was told that my debit card was not the card use to pay for the tickets and that the card was reported stolen.

I booked a flight through their site and they said I would receive my airline conformation. After almost 2h of no contact or confirmation email, I live chatted with them and they told me that my ticket was not completed due to fare expiration and that I should call them. I called and the person then decided to sell me a ticket costing an extra 500 dollars. When I declined they told me they already took my money and I must pay the extra $500. I said no and that that was fraud as they did not even book me or conform me on any flight. They then told me they could cancel my order for $25 per person which amounted to $50. I refused and the person then proceeded to hang up on me. The online fares do not exist and they want to take money for no service at all.
