I went online to buy Muck boots/Shoes from a face book add, paid for them and never received the items

This was a commercial site advertised in Facebook so I thought it was authentic and that Facebook would carefully screen any business they permitted to use their platform to advertise. I proceeded to click on the company and place an order for some boots that have not arrived, and any attempt to contact this company is unsuccessful - emails bounce and now that I search for them on Facebook they have vanished. To say I am angry and frustrated is an understatement! Facebook needs to put stronger measures in place to protect against members of their platform becoming victims of crime.
