I received multiple updates on the whereabouts of the package, which showed it starting in Belgium and arriving in customs in the US and then Texas etc... On December 15th tracking showed it was in Fort Wayne, TX. After this update, nothing. No more updates, no package and tracking history just stopped in Texas. Holidays, travel etc... kept me from checking again until January 5th, 2023 and my email inquiry was met with blanketed reassurance that the package was on the way, but no specific date would be given. I called the credit card company and filed a dispute on the charges. Lo and behold- I heard a day later from the company again, reassuring me that the package was on the way and with a NEW tracking #.
My package actually arrived today with the expected merchandise, but it was sent from New Jersey by way of 4 other cities (including Los Angeles) and finally to me (Denver) First Class. The new tracking number shows it was sent out the day after I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Interesting timing.
I am certain that I would still be waiting for this package had my credit card company not gotten involved. I suspect they thought I would just forget about ordering it. I would actually like to return the product, but not sure my time is worth the trouble I suspect I will encounter.
Interesting side note- the return address on the package shows a heating, air conditioning and plumbing business.
