My bank account was hit for about $830. I am retired military and law enforcement veteran. I talked to Navy Federal and reported the Fraud. They confirmed the above info for the business. Likely my card info got skimmed off a gas pump in San Antonio Texas. I called and talked to some lady who said that all their employees work from home and to send email to [email protected] and [email protected]. I got no reply other than the finance email had an office360 auto reply saying it only accepted emails from recognized emails. Then I got phone calls from multiple different numbers over the last few days trying to get my new card info. I gave all this info to Navy Federal Fraud team on phone and via a secure message thru their web portal. I also sent over a tip to the FBI on it as well. I am hoping that one of yall can nail these people. They did tell me they have my dad's info (everything they told me matched his info - but he has been dead for 10 years) - to include his home address that my mom and her husband still reside at (my parents split when i was a kid and she remarried). Numbers the suspect actually called back from 908-723-5725 claiming to be NFCU fraud and wanted to try to get my new card info by getting me to "verify the new card number" which i wouldnt. They tried again (white male) days later (6/11/2024) with their number masked as a NFCU number statign they saw transactions attempted in Georgia, wanted to verify my info, and I told them you should be able to tell me my info if you are NFCU. They eventually hung up. I called their number back and told them their calls were being tracked and was reported to FBI and NFCU and they quickly lost the voiceover or changed it to a black male (sounded like) who got mad and started cursing. Once i blocked that number they called back from 941-676-5873 which i ignored and blocked. Then they called back from a number of 786-859-2141 that showed to belong to an Ashley Dansby (first number that had a name associated) - which showed out of Miami Florida. NFCU also felt this business was likely a fraud front.
