Through my fax machine at work, I received what looked like my Yellow Page directory listing...asking to correct my contact information. The single page stated that this was not a bill. After I made the corrections, I signed and faxed back accordingly. Months later I received a fax from a foreign country demanding payment for "advertising". I did not receive a proof of advertising copy for approval ( nor did I think I ordered anything other than through my local YP company) and I never received a phone book with my advert etc.. Now they've sent a letter from their Law Division saying that I'm in default for $2208.

Good Morning!

We are having the same problem. Could I ask if you ever resolved this issue? I have no intentions on paying for something we didn’t want or need. Any advice is much appreciated.

Purporting to be Yellow Pages ILLINOIS they fax a "DATA VERIFICATION" form with a "publication deadline" Created a listing on *** that has nothing to do with the real yellow pages and bills $99 per month for a 2 year term that can't be cancelled.

Open Business Solutions LLC has placed several phone calls to our company office claiming that a person within our organization signed a contract ($2,376) for advertising in the Yellow Pages Directory. We did not engage this company and the harassing phone calls keep coming. Open Business Solutions emailed a contract to our office and have phased a signature onto the document. Please warn other businesses about this scam!

received a statement in the mail saying we owed $1,188.00 for services on the 15th of September, 2017.

Multiple invoices including threats about further action if the amount is not paid. We have no affiliation with them and have not received any services for which to be billed. This company will attempt to collect US$1188.00 without your authorization for any service. They'll send an 'invoice' saying they provided a 'Listing @ Business Directory www.yellow-page-usa.com' and attempt to get you to pay for something you never authorized. We have received numerous faxes from this company, saying we owe them money. I just received three within 10 minutes. They acted in a fraudulent way to obtain a signature, which we thought was our normal advertising company. The address given is in Germany. We have seen numerous complaints about this company.

Open Business Solutions poses as another company which they use a LOGO that was branded by Yellow Pages years ago. A trusted logo to make you beleive you are working directly with the Yellow Pages and their Phone Book Directory. Using key words within the body of their faxes. They pose as a legitimate company and then send you an Invoice for 1,188.00 for an (ON-LINE) listing agent under a different name (OPEN BUSINESS SOLUTIONS) When I called them out over the phone they were rude and hostile. I have reported this to the ScamPulse.com of Wisconsin and I continue to receive reminders of our outstanding Invoice for an Imposter. I have a follow up letter which they are calling a Third Reminder for an OVERDUE INVOICE!!!! We will NOT pay it as they lead us to beleive they were our Local YP phone book listing service in Green Bay WI. I called YP anbd they told us that we were scammed. The reason I'm informing the ScamPulse.com was to let them know what is happening with small businesses in regards to this company, and to make sure it doesn't happen to others. Thank you

A company posing as the Yellow Pages Directory is faxing businesses a Data Verification order form for updating your yellow pages listing. The form includes the Yellow pages logo with the Icon of the "fingers walking" which I recently found out are no longer a trademark of the "Yellow Pages" The update was for the Spring 2016 Edition of the listing in the Yellow pages. There are NO fees for the update of your business information. They include a 1800 864 3026 fax number to return the form. I filled out the form and sent it back signed on 1/15/16 It clearly states that THIS IS NOT A BILL. On 1/29/2016 I received an Invoice on my email from a company called OPEN BUSINESS SOLUTIONS out of Philadelphia PA regarding a $1143.00 bill for internet advertising. I called the Yellow Pages that we have our listing for the phone book and they told me it was a scam. I called the number on the that was listed on the form from the YP scam sheet and they said I signed it, I pay for it or they will ruin our credit. They are calling, and faxing us demanding the money. They faxed a copy of the signed document along with terms of a 2 year agreement that has to be paid in full. We have been very diligent in years past in regards to sniffing out scams. This one is very clever, as they have used a logo that makes you believe they are legit. They also make many attempts to strongarm you into paying for the advertising. I have called and written to them and told them we are NOT paying that they are a scam, but they will not leave you alone. After this happened to us I searched on the internet and found out that this is a very clever group that has been doing this for years. I would also like to say that now they are using a different Logo on their paperwork. We are a small business in the the heart of Wisconsin, we have not paid them any money. We are reporting this to the BBB here in Wisconsin.

I received an official-looking fax that said it just wanted to confirm the address and phone number of my business was correct.

I signed, dated and faxed back my confirmation.



Later, I received a bill from them for $1,188, which I will not be paying.
