Open Business Solutions Reports & Reviews (37)

- Englewood, CO, USA

We received a few faxes from "Open Business Solutions, LLC" from Eschcrsheimer Landstrasse 42 - 60322 Frankfurt/Main - Germany.

They claim that we owe them $1,188 and this is our third reminder. It only states that we we contracted with them on March 22, 2016 for one year of service. We have no idea who they are or what we contracted with them for. It looks like they are trying to appear as Yellow Pages. They listed their website as Listing@Business Directory www.yellow-page-usa.com

They list their phone number as 1-855-579-2910 and their fax as 1-855-579-2911.

I faxed them back with an explanation that we know they are a scam and that they will not receive any money from us.

They are targeting our business, a chiropractic clinic, but they are addressing me by my last name. I am not the business owner, the doctor is the business owner. I am just the office assistant. I am sure they called at some point phishing for our info. I get a lot of those kind of calls.

We have also received a different looking fax from Bulgaria claiming outright to be from Yellow Pages, but with no phone number listed, only an address to send payment. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of that fax at this moment.

Our small business received a fax asking to verify yellow pages information. One of our employees reviewed and sent it back. The fax stated that this is not an invoice. In the very small print that was not readable it states that this is a contract. Upon receiving an invoice I immediately called and informed them that we do not want this service and was informed that if I fax back the invoice indicating do not want they would take care of it. We responded two days prior to required date. They are now claiming that we responded too late and we have a contract and are demanding payment. I will not be paying this nor should any one else who gets contacted this way.

Has a relation to the "Open Business Directory" scam, they are claiming that our case with OBD is now being handled by "Open Business Solutions" and that we should remit payment to them.

Pretends to be local yellow pages updating your business information. Uses yellow pages logo. Have no affiliation with the yellow pages.

Received a fax from Yellow Pages that is very misleading. Makes you believe it's from the real Yellow Pages and asking for your business' updated information. It says in big letters THIS IS NOT A BILL and it does not show in regular readable size print that you will be charged - it says you will be charged in the very small print at the bottom. You then get an invoice stating you owe $1,188.00. When you respond and ask them to cancel, they refuse. This company is not the real Yellow Pages and although it gives an address in the USA it is really out of Switzerland.

The company Open Business Solutions sends a fax to you in the form of the Yellow Pages. They never list their business name and alters the document if it's signed after they send it to you. If you fill out the form and think that its just a listing for the Yellow Pages and the Yellow Pages.com, then they send you a bill for $1188.00. They dupe you into a 3 year contract with no verbal contact or written communication. Do not do business with this company because if you do, they threaten to send you to a collection agency and will not cancel once you find out it's a scam. If I would have known the name of the company, I would have torn up the fax.

Open Business Solutions - send third reminder to us for an invoice date April 4 2015 for scams us on a data verification order form for Yellow Page New Edition 2015 - they said they were representing Yellow Pages...wrong. totally scamming business.

SCAM!!!!! I have received many phone calls and fax's from these people. I called the BBB last year regarding this fake business. They keep threatening me with debt collectors but then I don't hear from them for almost a year! After that time I finally received another call which I was on the phone arguing with the lady (sounded British?) for at least 10-15 min. She said if I don't pay they will send me to collections but they sent me the same thing almost a year ago and nothing happened. She said I wasn't allowed to cancel the advertising because I signed a contract....? They are NOT affiliated with the yellow pages. An employee signed a copy of the form because it had said to "renew" our subscription for free then they sent us an invoice for $1188.00 for months. Still don't know what to do.

they send a fabricated invoice for a business listing on www.yellow-page-usa.com

We were sent several letters stating that we had an unpaid invoice with this company. We have never done business with them so do not owe any outstanding invoices. The continue to send letters every other month or so threatening to send our company to a local debt collection agency. Again, we have NEVER done business with them so do not owe any them any money.

The company i work for sells industrial tools, our customers send us purchase orders through the fax all the time. So one day i noticed that this company kept sending our company these Yellow page publications that state in very large print "THIS IS NOT A BILL"making you believe that their services are free of charge. So i did what anybody who works customer service would do and i checked off the boxes that confirmed our address and company name. Out of nowhere we received what was our "Third Notice" that we have an overdue invoice for $1188.00 which was never approved by anyone nor did anyone state to us the exact charges included in this "Service". My accounts receivable manager approached me about this invoice and asked that i call them and state to them what exactly what happened and if there was any chance that we could get this canceled. However when i called them i was put in contact to a British woman who was extremely rude! She was very condescending and told me that she talked to my Accounts manager and that she doesn't need to talk to me and then hung up on me. They are scammers that constantly send you junk through the fax with hopes that someone like myself will sign it and send it in so that they can charge you an absolutely ridiculous invoice. This company needs to be dealt with before it hurts a company that cant afford anything of this nature on their track record.

Sent invoices by FAX claiming we owed $1188 for fictional yellow pages advertising. The Faxes had weird dates (post dated six days after the actual FAX sent) with foreign style word spellings (e.g. programme instead of program) and other suspicious wording.

After second FAX called the 'customer service' number and got an individual with a heavily accented voice who claimed to be European, with background noises that sounded like a kitchen. Told him to fax me this alleged 'contract'. he said he would. Contract never sent.

- Montebello, CA, USA

We received a fax to update our company information asking us to correct our account and stating it is not a bill. They use the Yellow Pages Logo to make you think they are a legit business. We faxed it back and low and behold not even a month later we received a bill for $1,188 from Open Business Directory LTD. It was completely false! With you faxing back the corrected information they turn it into a "contract" where you have to pay a year in advance for nothing! They are a hoax and a scam! They will not return or even answer their supposed number on their invoice because they don't want to even deal with you just harass you through mail and try to force you to pay up for something you never even signed up for!

- Columbus, OH, USA

This company sent a bill for over $1000 for Directory Listing services for a listing in bogus site www.yellow-page-usa.com.

Company representative told me we signed a "contract". I can only think that this business contacted us to confirm our address. If confirmation was provided it DID NOT imply any agreement for a contract to be listed in any website. Any "contract" was obtained fraudulently and thereby void.

- Albany, NY, USA

Open Business Solutions has sent an invoice to our office for $1,188.00 for the following:

Work performed: Listing @Business Directory www.yellow-page-usa.com

- Montrose, CO, USA

Request disguised as a Yellow Pages business information listing contains fine print stating it is really a request for listing services at a cost of $1,099 per year with an automatic renewal.

- Skowhegan, ME, USA

I was provided with an opportunity to correct misinformation on our business listing. I was told I was under no obligation and this is a courtesy of Yellow Pages. I then received a bill in the mail in the amount of $1,188. When I requested a copy of an invoice to accompany the bill, I was faxed my original directory update that I provided and returned.
