This place is suppose to help with the elderly and or mentally disabled persons that are behind rent or need help finding a better living situation, in my families case my and I had mental illnesses and needed assistance in help paying back rent this person representing the company named Tanyell told me to send everything about us to her birth certificates, ID’s social security numbers and my financial information in order to receive help she promised to get us the help me and my family instead she convinced me of waiting until the funds became available I asked what do I do about the behind months rent she said if you can work your instacart job I said I received a 3 day notice that she said that was the only thing missing to receive help to only continue the to be told to hold on and wait she doesn’t have access to the funds I quickly used my credit to get a loan to pay my rent only worsening my credit score and debit she did this twice and I called and I emailed for help I was told that pastor Jessica would reach out to me and no one has so not only does this company have me and my family information she also started charging my IEP card for 30mins sessions I’ve never been to they seem to only want to keep the funds and not help they tell you they will help you even find a better affordable place if you can’t deal with the rent but will not communicate or help find listings as promised a lot of people don’t have cars I have a very damaged one but while I was there in person twice she made nothing but I excuses for why they would not release funds to help us at this point I feel like it’s personal I have autism and am very good with directions so I did ever step and basically had a relationship with her email only and never got called for any updates I was told good luck reaching me anytime moving forward because there’s only three of us working here and we all have 82 clients each so …. Not kidding that’s how she answered me I hate to say this but it’s very obvious that they are willing to only help the African American community and no one else which is so sad because we needed the help and was told this place could help from 211 had I known it was going to be like this I would of went to a shelter instead of trusting someone with me and my kids information Ssi’s and my finances now I’m in process of explaining to IEP she was charging them without my consent along with calling my bank and loan places and am gonna put a freeze on my ssi now I pray to god this doesn’t happen to anyone else this place looks and feels like a complete scam even the workers there have no personal backgrounds I was told they are just long term church goers that the pastor trusted to run it again I wish this was all disclosed am only repeating all the information Tanyell has shared with me so please help because I know for a fact am not the only one dealing with this it just other families can’t speak English and get the proper help til this day they have not helped us or even have called me back after my complaints mind you my rent has still not yet been fully paid this is on me now I will continue to seek other programs for help
