I received an email from what looks like an official Home Depot site asking that I take a survey describing my experience from my recent visit. I didn't think twice as I had just purchased fertilizer from Home Depot within the week. At the end of the survey I was prompted for my credit card to cover shipping for a free Makita Power Drill, which I provided. Shortly after completing the survey I received an email stating my log details for a site named optimumdealsmerchandisers.com where I could claim a $100 gift card. I did not think at any point I was purchasing anything but shipping for the drill. I checked my credit card activity and seen a pending charge for $69.97 from HOMEGLORIUSDECO, 855-2185986 NY. I called the support number , and explained that I wanted a complete refund. It took some back and forth where the lady on the phone would put me on hold while she "checked with the merchandisers" about the refund. She offered a 30% refund which I refused, then 50% , and finally said they had agreed to a full refund after I would not budge. She said the refund should hit within 3-5 days.
