Ad on Facebook for buy 2 get 2 folding lawn chairs from QVC Overstock. Placed order using credit card, said card could be used and to use amother. O then used a debit card. After completing the purchase, I tried to contact them after the order went thru and it was difficult to find a number. I did find one on the receipt I was emailed. Calling the number I got a voicemail message saying that if you ordered something on line that it was a scam, they were using her number and I should report it. The ladies number came up British Columbia. I tried to locate the website and it could not be found. I immediately called my credit union and canceled my debit card and called the credit card company from the card I tried to use before that just to be sure. I went to credit union the next day to get a replacement debit card and there was not any new transactions on the account. Credit union clerk said that since I authorized the transaction that they could nit call it fraud and I would have to wait and see if I get the product. It's been 4 weeks, I checked the tracking number from my email receipt from track718. It shows product from china is in new jersey. Credit union said since I don't have an estimated date of arrival they can not put in a claim and since they gave me a tracking number so if it ever says it was delivered and I did not receive it there is nothing they can do. I have learned this so called tracking company Track718 is often used by hackers. They will say it had been delivered when it hasn't and all it has to say is that it was delivered in your city, not even your address the credit union will not help. Only time is if it says it was delivered in another state. I'm currently waiting the 7 days as told by my credit union to check again. Meanwhile I just got a package in the mail (a knee brace) that I did not order from Mark Cadicamo. After googling that name I find that this is another scam. I am checking my credit cards and credit union daily for the other shoe to drop!!! $50.00 life lesson!!!
