I registered a new small business with the Secretary of State's office. A few days later I received an official looking document in the mail with my business name and registry number, requesting money to apparently receive an Oregon Certificate of Good Standing. They were charging $77.25. The state offers the same certificate for $10. It came with a pre-addressed envelope. I did fall for the scam, but thankfully, the post office returned the envelope as the address is apparently bad.
