My story is pretty much the same except it's Bob Cabrera and I received a cashier check today it even came 2 day priority mail (9/28/20) for $4550.99. I called the bank it was on Citizens Bank and I was told I should be able to cash it because it's a cashiers check which is the same as cash. I would like to know is if what the guy at the bank told me then it should not come back on me right? lol

I fell for a scam yrs ago where $ orders & trav chk of $500 ea came.. Went shopping w/no intent of wiring their share. Not proud but felt good getting free $. Finally after 5 or 6 were spent a Det. Martinez came & said now you know & have to stop or criminal charges could be filed. I stopped immediately

I received the text yesterday. Thinking it was scam i gave them my info just to see what they would say. First he says that when the contract ends they will remove the wrap and then i asked is there a contract? he said no. Bob Cabrera 330 977 8822. so i just now sent him a screen shot of this page and it failed to send. hhhmmmm.so sad he does not want to talk to me no more...LOL

I received a text message addressed from Orsl-B, to sign up to have my vehicle wrapped and I would be paid $500/ weekly. I texted them the link of the scam, and auto reply came back "[Auto-Reply] I'm driving right now - I'll get back to you later." I texted back "I'm telling. I filled out the form afterwards for kicks ..it was fun to give them the info they deserved!

Man I knew this was too good to be true. Same as most I got a text from bob saying all the same stuff as the rest of the guys if you look up his name he’s on the better business Bureau. And FBIs scams

This guy says he is the campaign manager for OralB and he says his name is Bob Cabrera. He emailed me stating I could make $500.00 a week by giving Oral B permission to apply a decal for advertising on my bike, car, boat, etc...you get the idea. I asked our Oral B rep at work and he said it is a scam and DO NOT cash any check that you receive from him. This seemed too good to be true!

I just got a text from 1 (303) 977-8822 from a person named Thomas Lawson, who claimed to be "the Campaign manager for Oral-B." He said "the Company's accountant will make a check via USPS which you will deposit into your bank account via bank ATM/drive through or mobile app." After that supposedly he will meet me at my house to apply the decal to my vehicle. I asked how big the decal was. He said 5X7, or common bumper sticker size : 3X11.5. i have now asked him for information as to who his boss is at Oral-B as I have met some of the people who work there. I do not expect he will answer me now that I have found out about the scam!

I just got a text and I replied that I was interested —— with the same info that’s is above from Thomas Lawson. So I started looking up info on a “West Covina “ sent the envelope , and it’s from California , but on the check it says Henry county b-o-c —— this is in Georgia. Nothing adds up! So I keep researching and found this scam page.

My husband received a call from Thomas Lawson, same script different day... he got a package today, Friday 3/13/20, BUT to our dismay, or luck, NO CHECK was enclosed, THANK GOD! After I read all of this1st of all it all sounds too good to be true... 2nd NEVER deposit a check into your account... the reason the money is available the next day is because you already have the funds to cover it, which is why they want you to deposit it 2 ways, to SCREW YOU!
3rd NEVER DEPOSIT MONEY FROM A COMPANY JUST TO TURN AROUND TO PAY THEIR “employee” or CONVENIENT SELF EMPLOYED “BODY WRAP TECH” AKA 1099
THAT IS ALL BS AND THEYRE TAKING YOUR MONEY

Hi Xxxx, I'm Thomas Lawson, the Campaign manager for Oral-B. We received your application form that you are interested in advertising for our company. Please text back if you are still interested. Thanks

Ok, our accountant would mail a check to your address. The amount on the first payment check will include both the design, installation and removal fee and also the $500 accrued to you. You are to deposit the check into your bank account for proper clearance via the bank ATM or mobile app for next day cash availability in your bank account.

However, the rest of the funds would be paid to the SPECIALIST AGENT that will install the decal on your vehicle. Method of payment will be related to you as soon as you receive the check payment. So let me know now if you are still interested and ready to get started.

Once the check clears and you have the cash at hand. the SPECIALIST AGENT payment covers the installation and removal of the wrap on your vehicle. The installation and removal will be done at your address and it will only take up to 2-3hrs and you will be given the contract agreement form to sign and Once the wrap has been installed, minimum term is 4 weeks and maximum is 12 weeks.

Originally received a text from 863-514-7920, stating to go to link and fill out form to have my car wrapped and make $500 per week, I filled out the form on the site, and then received a text from phone number 614-368-5594, claiming to be Thomas Lawson, and account manager from Oral-B, who stated that I would receive a check and the amount would include my first weeks pay of $500 plus the amount to cover the installation of the removal of the decal, and the assignment was for a 12 period, I was also told that I would need to sign a contract, when I asked what the contract entailed, I was told that it stated that if I didn't follow the rules of driving to my regular destinations and stay in contact with them, that the assignment would end early and they would come remove the decal. Supposedly my check will be here on Monday 3/9/2020.

Car wrap advertisement scam. I received a check for $1200 and was instructed to deposit it then email the deposit slip with my contact info to the email address.
