Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
It was an invoice informing me of my recent purchase of a Microsoft Surface Pro laptop for $***, which I did not purchase.
I browsed the message, looking for the name of sender / retailer, but was not able to find any...only a phone number "1845-576-5249" highlighted in large, bold, blue type.
I immediately suspected that it was a scam. My guess is that they are trying to get people to call in and confirm the recipient's name address and credit card information.
I did not reply to the email nor did I try calling the phone number...
I google searched "1845-576-5249 scam, Microsoft Surface Pro and found one mention of the same incident reported on the ScamPulse.com website.
