Recycled asphalt and sealant - "Roman" of "Oregon Asphalt" said he had 3 loads from neighbor's job that just finished and would lose those loads unless he could sell them. I've wanted asphalt in my driveway and he offered me a deal of $18/sq yd as opposed to $52/sq yd, plus $500 for sealant. I'm a widow and know nothing about asphalt but felt we were doing each other a favor. He then brought his "little brother, Jay Joles" of "Dynamic Paving" in with a load. When I asked why the asphalt wasn't hot, they explained it was recycled and the sealant would set and harden it. After the asphalt was rolled it looked great but the next day my dogs tore it up. A contractor friend looked at the "project" and confirmed I was scammed.
