On October 30, 2023 at 8:27AM PST, I was sent an email by a Nelson Diaz. He claimed to be the Staffing Director HR - Talent Acquisition of Orion Pharmaceutical. He said that Indeed.com had sent them my resume and that I may qualify for a job as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (Entry Level and Specialty) with their company. All I had to do was answer their questionnaire and send it back to him and then I would be able to get an interview. I answered the questions and got a response, fairly quickly. I was told that I didn't meet all of the qualifications for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative because I lacked a CNPR Certification. He then provided me with a link for a website where I could easily obtain this certification online. The website he gave me was to the "National Association of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives" (https://www.napsronline.org/). He said that the latest person that they hired completed their certification within 13 days. I then proceeded to purchase the "Total Package" which included the "CNPR Training Manual, CNPR Examination, NAPSRx Membership (1 year), Quizzes and access to the NAPSRx Career Center" for a total of $279.00. I paid for this with a credit card via PayPal.
