i was contacted by "mrs. thelma west" claiming to work in part with Orkla, an international conglomerate that was "wanting to open a location nearby and would be using paperwork filing via email".

They proceeded to ask for i-9 information but refused to send forms and then issues a check under the name Alex Morganson via PNC bank. When it mentioned being sent overnight and from Dollskill i knew it was pretty much a scam. They also refused to mention where they were from if it was a staffing agency.

They did manage to get my social security number and address, which i regret making the mistake of.
