I bought 2 pairs of shoes online from a company I believe I’ve purchased from before frOM QVC. The shoes looked good and had good reviews. The company’s return policy stated that they offered stress free returns, and that the customer might be responsible for return shipping. When the shoes arrived they were extremely poor quality and were too small. I contacted the company the same day I received them requesting a refund. They replied offering a 15% refund if I kept the shoes, or I would have to return the shoes to their Asian warehouse and be responsible for the shipping charges. The shoes were shipped from California and they never stated in their website or return policy that the shoes would have to be sent to China. Although I wrote that I lost $100 on this form, I know it was more. I just don’t know the exact amount.

I ordered 3 pairs of Orthofit shoes at the end of December, then received them 3 weeks later. I had no idea they were coming directly from China. They reek of chemicals and are cheaply made. Two pairs didn't fit; the other pair is too difficult to put on. One pair has fur inside, which comes off in tufts. I contacted the company for a refund since their website says "Full, stress-free refund," and "try free for 30 days." The email I received from their customer service said they've give me a 20% discount because they sent the correct size and I could keep the shoes. I responded and repeated their website policy about the full refund. The customer service person ("Jasmine") then wrote that I can return the shoes but that they have to be at their address in China within 30 days of the day they were delivered to me, and that if they arrived late, they would be disposed of and I wouldn't get a refund. And I'm responsible for the shipping cost. I just sent another email saying that's not what "try free for 30 days" means. This company is a scam, and I am out $156, plus the foreign transaction fee my credit card company charged me.

It was a Facebook advertisement for orthotic boots from a company name that I am familiar with. They arrived cheaply made with no support and not fitting correctly. The shoes were not even marked with the company logo. I ordered a larger size and they were still too small. Now they have sent me an address in China when I requested a refund. It will cost me the amount I paid for the shoes to send them back. What recourse do I have?

I ordered shoes. I paid for them and eventually received them. When I did there was an obvious defect that I sent pictures and a video of but they kept telling me they could see nothing wrong. I eventually got back about $7 but that was it.
