On 8/14/18 I contacted Porch.com i was looking for someone for a tree removal, i received an email that Dayzion's Landscaping would call me. Robert from there called me about the job, i informed him i wanted to make sure he had insurance, when he came to estimate the job he brought Kevin Ortiz from Ortiz Landscaping, said he was his brother and he was the one with the insurance, showed me the insurance, I made a copy. They quoted me $1800.00 for the job. They said they required a $900.00 deposit for the lift required for the job. I gave Kevin a check payable to Ortiz Landscaping because he had the insurance and he said he would be there doing the job with Robert. I have copy of cashed check and a receipt from him. They were suppose to come back Monday, never came back or called. I called Robert Tuesday, no answer. I called Kevin, he said what am I talking about, I knew something was wrong, he acted like he didn't know what i was talking about, i explained, he said he would contact Robert. Robert called me later, gave me some lame excuse, i told i wanted my deposit back. he said they didn't have it. I told him i'll give him til Thursday or I'll pursue this, he said he'll give me what he has. He never showed up or called. Last I heard of either of them. I've since got the job done by someone else. I have copies of everything.
