We called Juan Ortiz of Ortiz Professional Tree Trimming on Saturday.
To our surprise, he insisted we pay him cash. Similar to other experiences, he told us that he didn't have his trailer, but would be back to haul away all the branches in the morning. We paid him in full and truly believed he would be back to pick up his mess.
On Sunday, Juan told us he didn’t make it out because the rain made it difficult to get the trailer out.
On Monday, Juan told us he didn’t realize it was a holiday and his men asked for the day off, but he assured me he would be over “first thing in the morning”
On Tuesday, Juan said he was on his way to pick up the trailer and would be right over. However, after several phone calls and texts, he no longer responded to my calls or messages.
Clearly, this is a man who preys on the trusting part of human nature and actively participates in the most despicable kind of business practices. Please help to stop this man from continuing to take advantage and profit from the good-hearted, the trusting, the elderly, and everyone else whom he literally hunts for via door-to-door solicitation.
