Checked prices overseas (oriental). They were not for me ($850+ $1800 currier fee). I then started searching closer to home with no luck which ultimately led me to Facebook, my ultimate demise. I reached out to numerous breeders in which three replied. After I responded and informed them what I was looking for, only one contacted me, Oriental Shorthair Cast And Kitten For New Homes. I was super excited because they had exactly what I wanted and for the BEST PRICE EVER!!!! ($850- no currier fee- WHAT!!!). I was even able to do a payment plan!!! (SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!!). The first payment via CashApp went through with no problem. I was getting updates on kitten even pictures and videos. The one thing that had me question the breeder was when he changed his CashApp name and tag on the second payment. I accepted his explanation that his CashApp stopped working and just kept it moving. The next payment, a new CashApp name and tag. Payment after payment, new name and tag after new name and tag. The payments were successful so I was happy that I was closer to getting my baby home. So, last payment is where it all began to crumble before me but I hopeful. Why? Through much prayer and forgiveness, I have learned to give it all to God and if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. So, the payment was made through CashApp and was kicked back. The breeder had me get a Vanilla Gift Card, take pictures of it and the receipt and send it. Everything went through fine on my end. Shortly after I received a message stating that the card had been previously used. I disputed that accusation immediately and informed the breeder that I could have the card tracked and I would find exactly what happened and I knew for a fact that the card was new. After researching, I discovered that the breeder used an unauthorized website to make a partial withdrawal ($1.95) instead of the authorized website on the card which deemed the card invalid. The company investigated this issue then sent me a new card with my money on it. I notified the breeder (last payment for cat). I tried PayPal but it was not successful. I had to return to CashApp. I told the breeder I would send the card information but he MUST use the authorized card information and the total amount on the card (not $1.95). Everything went great and they claimed to be on the way to the airport with my baby. JOY, JOY, JOY!!! I later get informed that there was a "refundable nonpressure vaccine fee" for the cat for his safety. After going back and forth with the breeder about not having any more money, I told him to have the "airport manager" call me. I received a call from a North Carolina number. It was a male with a strong foreign accent stating that he worked for the airport and would make sure the kitten got on the plane and that it was delivered to me and gave me his word. Needless to say, it has been radio silence ever since from both breeder and "airport" worker and the "airport" worker has since cancelled his phone service. Good news, though. He has a side business!!! He's a DOG BREEDER:
