However, on the day of the event, the situation deteriorated significantly. Jeux Gonflables Gatineau informed usthat their workers had been involved in a serious car accident and were dealing with the aft ermath of a jacked knifesituation. Despite assurances of their imminent arrival, no further updates were provided. Aft er an hour of waiting, idecided to call them and send a message but their phone number was deactivated, and attempts to contact themvia text message proved unsuccessful. The company appeared to have vanished entirely. Additionally, with theaudio message that was sent from their end, they have disappeared so not all information that i was providedcould be found. Reviews on their website that appeared roughly the same timeline of our event, also had the samethoughts and they did not show up for them either and believed to be a scam as well.
The failure of Jeux Gonflables Gatineau to fulfill their contractual obligations led to considerable disappointmentamong the event attendees, particularly children, and caused significant distress for our guests. We were unable torecover the financial losses incurred as a result of their non-performance, which amounted to a substantial portionof our event budget.
