A family member found Mala Sharma Singh of Sharma Singh Immigration from a television ad advertising immigration consultant services. My family member contacted Mala Sharma Singh to assist with the process of immigrating 2 kids into Canada. Mala Sharma Singh met my family member at the bank where she collected $20000 in 2 separate transactions of $10000 each. Apparently bank doesn't question when the amount is $10000 and under. My family member gave the scammer another $5500 on separate occasions for other fees. The scammer provided no immigration services at all. When contents of the file was requested nothing was available. Family member requested discontinuation of services and refund of payment. The scammer gave family member a $20000 check which was returned NSF. Since then scammer keeps giving family member the runaround. Upon further investigation scammer is not registered with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants although she uses the registration RCIC #R533505.
