Inexperienced person traveling to conference was given an Uber gift certificate to cover travel to hotel. He was approached by a person asked if he needed a ride and he stated that he needed an Uber as he had the GC and the driver of this company said that is him and they can take the GC. This was not the case and the driver explained once they arrived at the hotel that he had to pay in full.

He was totally taken advantage of and I wanted to share the experience as there is no way to contact the actual company he drives for. Not listed on the Wen anywhere nor is there any other info on the receipt from Square.
