I received an e-mail and text from a company that called themselves "Outcome," claiming that my resume had been shortlisted. I never applied to this company. They provided no information about the job. They claimed to be a marketing firm in Chicago, but when you searched the address, there was no company by that name listed. Their website was a single page and obviously fake and the company does not exist in any credible databases. They listed a number of fake clients in a group zoom interview and ended the call before anyone was able to question anything.
