I reached out to inquire about two puppies. I didn't like the lack of personal information regarding the sellers on the website as it all seemed very general. The man who spoke to us seemed nice enough and was enthusiastic about moving forward to ship us the puppies across the US. I wanted to do more digging and kept stumbling into more red flags. I copied the email that I was sent and it was verbatim from other dog breeding websites. They asked we pay half upfront through venmo. I inquired about a video call to see the dogs before signing paperwork and fully committing to anything, but that request was denied. Sadly, it does seem like a scam.
