Ovago presents itself as a valid travel retailer. However, my daughter (20) purchased a ticket from them (with our permission). She paid an additional $300 to ensure that the ticket was fully refundable. Unfortunately, she had to change her plans which meant cancelling her trip. Since then, she has tried at least half a dozen times over the last ten days to get help. Ovago has a series of strategies they use to avoid issuing a refund: they don't answer their phones, they leave customers on hold for excessively long periods. Or, they answer the phone, look up your information and tell you that "person x" is handling your refund. Then they explain that "person x" will be calling you within 2-4 hours. They never call back. The three times that we've managed to contact someone (I have a transcript of a long "live chat" with one of their agents), they have told us the same thing. Each time, the person supposedly working on our issue was different name. This is clearly a coordinated effort to avoid issuing refunds .
