Type of a scam CryptoCurrency
After weeks of getting to know more of each other she asked me what are my thoughts on cryptocurrency,I told her I didn't really know much about it.
She told me she had amassed quite a fortune investing in crypto,and that she would guide me in creating an account and investing in a cryptocurrency investment platform.
I felt sceptical at first but she convinced me.
I created a wallet on this binance platform and bought $7,000 worth of usdt.
She then guided me on how I'll invest it on the sagatrade.io platform.
After creating an account and trading for a while under her guidance,I made a profit of $10,000.
But when I wanted to withdraw I couldn't and was asked to pay a tax percentage on withdrawal and also for signale used to trade.
I refused to pay,so they threatened to freeze my trading account.
I went online to make more research and came across a crypto information company on a bitcoin forum,they told me i had fallen for a pig butchering scam and that these scams are quite rampant nowadays.
They asked for my transaction history and other details related to the transactions I made on the fraudulent platform.
I provided all these and so far these good American citizens have been able to get back $4,700 of the 7k I lost.
And have promised me they'll do their best to recover every last dime I lost.
I'm putting this here incase anyone here has also been a victim of this.
