Professional Parking Management charges $90 (or a reduced $55 if you pay in 15 days because they are such good people) for "over staying" in a parking space. So, if one goes even one minute past the time one has already paid for, the charge is $90, instead of some pro-rated charge that makes some sense given the posted rates. For example in Coral Gables, I paid $13.xx for 2 hours and then because my meeting ran longer than expected and I left at 3 hours, I ended up paying $55additionally. There is no marking or warning anywhere near the parking location. In addition, i do not see any notice of the company's involvement (so i can avoid them). This has happened to me in Coral Gables and Miami. I believe these are abusive business practices with no notice given. They should be told to change their ways.
