Ozempicgenius.org SCAM !!!
Reasons I thought this site was legit:
• The website looked totally legit. Very professionally done!
• The individual (I chatted with online) typed perfect grammar (English) during our interactions.
• Responded right away – all times of the day/night.
• Even emailed me a transcription of our chats. No identifying information in them though.
• Offered me a discount on the shipping and agreed to send it overnight.
• Sent me a Google maps link to their Pharmacy location and even included a photo of the outside of their building.
• Provided me with a link to track the package. Yes – I even clicked on the stupid link!
Warning Signs I missed:
• Will only accept payment via PayPal, Zelle, BitCoin, etc.. because you can’t get your money refunded this way. If you pay with a credit card, you can file a claim. Same if you use your bank account.
• Never asked for my age, height, weight, or any other medical information even though it required a prescription.
• Wanted a screen shot of my online Zelle account showing the payment transaction.
• When there was a delay, told me to call my bank to rush it through by telling them it’s a “gift.”
• For PayPal, want you to use the “friends and family” option instead of business transaction.
• Ozempicpens.com used the exact same invoice design.
The day I was supposed to receive the order, I started receiving nasty text messages telling me I needed to pay $650 in extra postage fees or they were going to report me.
Even though you won’t get your money back, here are some things I did to help protect anybody else from going through this:
1. Filed reports with:
• Federal Trade Commission (FTC): https://reportfraud.ftc.gov
• Better Business Bureau: https://www.bbb.org/scamtracker
• U.S. Food and Drug Administration: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/email/oc/buyonline/english.cfm
• Federal Bureau of Investigation: https://complaint.ic3.gov/
2. Emailed the Pharmacy they used as a reference: https://www.discountmedicalpharmacy.net
3. Reported their URL and Host Domain: https://www.wikihow.com/Report-a-Website#
For DNS reporting:
https://whois.domaintools.com/
Host Provider:
https://www.whoishostingthis.com/
4. Reported the site on ScamAdvisor.com
5. TrustPilot.com
6. Reported the site to Google: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_badware/?hl=en
7. Reported the site to Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/support/report-unsafe-site-guest
8. Called Zelle and asked them to reverse the transaction. It was worth a try. Zelle: 1-844-428-8542
9. Submitted a resolution dispute (report) with my bank AND with Zelle https://www.zellepay.com/support/report-scam
10. Forwarded the threatening text messages 7726 (SPAM). This reports the message to the FTC.
Please don’t hesitate to report these scammers. They are counting on you to be too afraid to report them.
Ozempicgenius.org SCAM !!
This is a list of things that happened to me and I was (stupidly) fooled by:
• Website looked totally legit. The design was no different than any others!
• Will only accept payment via PayPal, Zelle, BitCoin, etc.. because you can’t get your money refunded this way. If you pay with a credit card, you can file a claim. Same if you use your bank account.
• The individual (I chatted with online) typed perfect grammar (English) during our interactions.
• Responded right away – all times of the day/night.
• Even emailed me a transcription of our chats. Thought this was cool, but they’re no use since there is no identifying information in them.
• Never asked for my age, height, weight, or any other medical information even though it required a prescription.
• Offered me a discount on the shipping and agreed to send it overnight.
• Sent me a Google maps link to their Pharmacy location.
• Included a photo of the outside of their building.

• When there was a delay, told me to call my bank to rush it through by telling them it’s a “gift.”
• For PayPal, want you to use the “friends and family” option instead of business transaction.
• Provided me with a link to track the package. Yes – I even clicked on the stupid link!
The next day I started receiving nasty text messages (from the shipper) telling me I needed to pay $650 in extra postage fees or they were going to report the package to the FDA for illegal drugs.

Please don’t hesitate to report these scammers. They are counting on you to be too afraid to report them. Just remember….
• You never accepted receipt of the package.
• You can’t be held liable for anything you didn’t receive.
• Selling a product to someone and not providing it is FRAUD.
• You were unaware a prescription was required since they didn’t ask for one.
• Perhaps your “minor” child placed the order without you knowing it. What’s the punishment for selling illegal drugs to minors.
When you report a scam you’re helping to protect others. Sure wish I could get my $400 back. :-(

I then contacted the company (OzempicGenius.com) to let them know what was happening. They "strongly advised" I pay the extra "stamp" fee or FDA could get involved.
