Total money lost $6,000
Type of a scam Moving
In 5/20 we had a final contract to $6700 with an option with piano, 1506Cuft volume with upfront $2345 cost with the delivery schedule at 6/3. In moving day on 5/28, They asked for me to sign off a new contract with the reason their worker insisted his estimation bigger size than the original volume(1506cuft). The worker laid down on the road, I had to argue with movers manager for an hour, and loading was started after I signed. I signed since I measured every my belongings under 1500cf. Their loading job continued on 5/29 and the volume reached 2710Cuft- All their stacking job looked very sloppy. They insisted to me signing off at the final cost $12596.5 and I signed. But they didn't delivery yet until 6/13, they didn't even respond for my email below-sent multiply but only one simple response the delivery would take 5 to 21 business days as in contract. An email below was sent with content in detail.

To xxx/xxxxx:
It is very confounding how the figures you estimated at the beginning of the contract became almost twice that of the original quote. The size and space occupied by my moving belongings “somehow” changed significantly from your original, initial estimate, with these changes occurring on the fly and resulting in the formation of a new contract mid-operation.
Additionally, a reason I chose your service was due to Jxx's explanation and verbal promotion of an optimal arrival schedule, alongside the notion that your company uses transportation trucks that are not operated on the basis of secondary subcontracts. Your company seemed to be advantageous in reducing the overall cost of transportation, thus reducing the customer’s overall expenditure.
The volume we calculated jointly at the time of the quotation was altered greatly to an unbelievable extent. All the newly exaggerated sizes can be measured again to accurately show, once again, the sizes that we agreed on in the original quote. I cannot help but be disappointed that the loading process of your company's employees has somehow inflated the agreed upon volume to almost twice original volume, as I had the pain of giving up some of my belongings (such as the Patio table set instantly (120cf by Quot.)) due to such crude re-estimations.
I also signed a contract based on Joe’s “explanation” that if we chose to move on 5/28 or 5/29, your company could facilitate moving of my belongings to my new location by 6/3, which, as I previously mentioned, was one of the “promises” that led me to your option. However, upon the date of 6/2, I contacted your company and was told confusing information by James [censored]. In my first call, he said that the contract stated the arrival of my belongings from 5 to 21 days, whereas, in the second call, he gave me conflicting information, with my belongings targeted to arrive within the weekend (6/7).
However, when I spoke to Jaxxx Hxxxxx once again on 6/5, he commented that no processes had started and repeated that the arrival of my belongings would occur within 5 to 21 days.
I am extremely disappointed not only due to the massive change in volume from what we initially agreed upon but also due to the unreliable and constantly changing date of arrival for my belongings.
For the safe arrival of my belongings, I request the following items from you:
1. I request you to e-mail me a copy of the quotation contract #4448734 that was signed (final) on 5/20.
2. I request you to e-mail me a copy of the intermediate contract I signed what Sam asked it to restart the loading stuff on the truck on 5/28.
3. I request you to e-mail me a copy of the final contract I signed with the final amount of $12,596.50.
4. Please e-mail me a detailed schedule of when my belongings will leave *** **** and arrive at my home in ************* *****.
5. Please explain how the initial quotation and actual loading were greatly increased from 1506cf to 2710cf (including discount 150) even though the shed, refrigerator, and patio sets were excluded.
Thank you.
