Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
When I checked the mail there was a priority mail envelope with nothing in it besides a check from Wells Fargo Bank for $1950, with a business of Pac-Van. NO other information. Immediately I realize this is a scam. I was told to deduct $300 commission for your first assignment, then get Walmart store to purchase Walmart Gift Cards. I declined to do s and stated I was turning the check over to the police. this person continued to tell me to get it cashed and get Walmart Gift cards with the balance. I text back and stated NO!!! Its fraud. No messages since.
