It started with an ad in Craigslist for 2 dachshund puppies that owner wanted to give up because they moved from ?Salt Lake to Kingswood Texas. They did not want anything and wanted to give us dogs but pay transport only to get to Idaho. It was a 16hour drive that I was not going to do so, they arranged for this transport company called- West Coast animal Transport and said it would be $500. So, we agreed. Next supposed arrangements was made and I had an email that we needed to verify our information going to. They asked that this be sent to them by Zelle or American express gift card. After a few hours we got another call that puppies were in Colorado and now needed new cages with heating that now would cost $800 that was to be refunded. Next day dogs needed $450 for Insurance. Today now in Boise supposed they needed $550 for puppy shots. So far we have paid out of pocket $2300 and no puppies. Now I just received another demand for $1450. because puppies were in quarantined and had 48 hours to come up with money. I have to stop. There was probably no puppies and this is just a scam. I asked the people where are they from? He said Canada? He has a very strong acent. Need to catch these guys.

They ask you to give them and advance fee in order to get a dog shipped and they want the money through zelle or gift cards! You then have to send them over 1000 dollars in order to get the process going! They give you a tracking number which is fake because no airline or shipping company has it!
