Type of a scam Online Purchase
I contacted the business via on their website and submitted a request for information on a "Toy Poodle Puppy named Sandi"
after going back and forth with a gentleman who claimed to be "Adrian" on text messages and email I was notified that Sandi would cost 1K
and nothing more . She would be too good to be true but my child and our family who excited to start the journey process and bring Sandi to a loving home and make her apart of the family.
We received 22 attachments which included pictures and videos of "Sandi" being held and in a loving home, playing and eating ect... of a " breeder from Pacific Poodle Puppy"
After we seen and even spoke to a man by the name of Adrian we were sold and started the process to bring "Sandi" home
I was asked to send 1K via Zelle or google pay provide all information , I was then told her vaccines and all other shots were up to date and a person from the "shipping department would contact me and follow up and provide me with her itinerary and Registration and Vat No.
After receiving a few emails from "EXPRESS FRIGORI LOGICIS" by the "Manage a "JASON OLIVA" that so far everything is a go and i should have a follow up email " should there be anything wrong.
well I received a text from Adrian who asked me to check my email and there was something wrong .
upon checking there was an email from "GERALD SMITH CAREGAR" ( AFTER DOING SOME RESERCH ON RIPANDSCAM.COM" he was rated as a scammer at a level of 81 % and his location was Lagos Nigeria and he is age 30 .there is a list of scam after scam.
I was notified that Sandi wasn't up to date with her vaccines an required " Due to Covid and all new type of regulations and flight restrictions I would have to provide them with an additional $1,400 !!! at this point I was so Upset and realized I have been scammed and contacted " Pacific Poodle Puppy " via text and email and requested my 1K be returned and I was hurt and disappointed that someone would scam anyone especially in the middle of a Pandemic. Well I've contacted my bank and have started a fraud case and I was told that there is a chance i might be out the 1K the saddest part was breaking the news to a 11 year old child who was longing for a pet .
I also recall before doing any transaction calling and speaking to Adrian and had him guarantee he wasn't being scammed and was a legit breeder. morale of the story trust NO ONE, although we did research it want enough.
