Scammer communicated with me via my Instagram profile to express interest in my dog being a “Brand Ambassador.” By doing so I would allegedly be entitled to a commission if people made a purchase using our discount code. Additionally, I was to receive 35% off all orders. When I explained we cannot afford their $50+ products in order to represent them. I explained how it didn’t make sense to have to pay for something if they’re asking us to represent them. She explained that she spoke to her “manager” and that she gave us a “free item.” In order to get free item, I just needed to buy a “wearable item” to include $50+ collars, harnesses and leashes. I didn’t see this stipulation. I proceeded and ordered a “free” collar, I purchased dog treats and additionally was charged for “package protection,” tax and shipping. I spent $21.92. I sent the screenshot to the profile and unlocked my “brand ambassador” package. I made a FB and Instagram post tagging them and they expressed excitement at this. A few hours later I received an email stating my order was cancelled as I didn’t fulfill the purchase requirements for a “free product.”
