I applied for a job off of Indeed and received a text asking me to download the Telegram messaging app and conducted an interview with a person claiming to be from one of the jobs I applied to. They asked a bunch of interview questions and then offered me a job. After feeling a little suspicious, I looked up the company on Glassdoor and discovered that other people had done a very similar interview and the actual company posted that they are not conducting interviews that way and that it was a scam. The scammers wanted to send me a check in the mail to buy office furniture and computer software once hired. As soon as I realized it was a scam, I deleted the Telegram app and blocked the phone numbers.
