My daughter and I was looking for a car on facebook market. A woman I believe was playing as many people say she has a car for sale for cheap her husband died she do not want the car and she is in the military in Alaska and different places and do not want to keep paying for storage for her dead husbands car. I was sent a link to buy eBay gift cards amount of $500-$800 and the car would be shipped to me. she asked for my name and address and other information so we can start the deal. My daughter showed me another ad and I grew concerned. I did give my name and phone number, I asked to FaceTime and for her to call me. After that the ad was gone and email no longer worked. Another email showed up saying about the same very similar story about the car needing to go and excellent condition, names being used is Casie Mortenson from Facebook ,Kim Peggy Osceola they are all Gmail account come from Facebook market. [email protected]. this person said they posted the car for a friend and to email them and all the pages are all no longer available I guess once someone gets the gift cards but the numbers in and no car is sent. They all was asking for name address phone number and the money ebay cars to a link I could not find anywhere. the person even grew upset with me when I would not send the money. I told my daughter do not do what he is asking, and grew upset when my daughter contacted me. she was very convincing at first.
