I received a text from Mrs. Kate McCrary, hiring manager. They saw my resume on Careerbuilder and thought I’d be a good fit. If I was interested, type yes and I did. That nagging feeling of something is not right because a text was sent instead of an email or phone call, hit me harder. Especially when she texted it was a ONLINE WORK FROM HOME position. Instead of addressing the position I’m interested in, she sent a large list of open positions. Pay was $37.09/hr up to 40 per week and training paid $20.00/hr. I was then texted the name Mr . Wallace McNally as the hiring manager that I need to do a brief interview with. STRICTLY TEXT CHAT via MICROSOFT TEAMS was emphasized. Confirming that I had Microsoft TEAMS, I was texted a web address with an interview code. I truly recognized it as a scam because that set off all kinds of bells and whistles.
