Apparently, it’s now owned by the Blake family in Colorado Springs, but they will tell you to send a deposit via Zelle to someone named Keyaon Jackson (also known as Eric) at 708-724-0861. Do a reverse image search on the photos on their site and you’ll see they’ve been doing this scam for awhile. If you have been scammed by them, notify your bank or credit card company and file a complaint with the FBI for cyber crime at https://www.ic3.gov/

So glad I checked for scams on papillon puppies in Colorado springs Colorado before I sent my deposit. Puppies name Happy video adorable broke my heart when I realized it is a scam. Beware stories with the dog.name Liam . Numerous dog breeding sites that are being run by these people. Check the testimonial section for a women named Sophia scholes and Garrett's family. Also most breeding sites will show the adult dogs that are used for breeding.. I'm concerned about the additional pictures that were sent without requesting them in the email that was sent that I opened could contain harmful stuff

I have thought about a puppy on December 1st I sent this please call $500. I put a chargeback on my bank account and guess what I lost my 500 and Google pay will not do anything stay away from this scammer

Josh Freeman and Premium Papillons in Colorado Springs CO is a SCAM. We paid $400 deposit, and we were going to fly there to pick up puppy "Luna". The bank notified me this was a scam and not to Zelle money to them. Then they told us we had to pay $1490 for an A/C crate, after we had already paid for a nanny to carry the pup. TOTAL Scammers!

He's now going by James Blake of Elegant Papillons, still out of Colorado Springs. We were lucky that the zelle didn't go through for Ken and Happy. Hopefully law enforcement is on to him. It's horrible what he's doing to people. Still using same pictures and names of puppies.

I kept all my emails and everything on this scammer I also got his phone number we need to flood the information highway with this guy's name

• Dec 08, 2023

I hate he got you too! He has another website now

Premium Papillon Pups website premiumpapipillonspup.com is a scam
And Family Raised Papillons phone number 719-789-5659 with the name of Josh Freeman is a total scam, both are the same scammer, listed as Josh Freeman, he has puppies Named Prince, Luna, Ken, Louie, Happy, Pixie, Amy, Lowen. The Puppies he claimed were born on August 14th, The Website looks legit, and well I actually did initially send the deposit for the pup via Zelle, however when i looked at the text message I noted that the name on my Text Message was Family Raised Papillons as a name, that threw up a red Flag, i quickly googled and found that this was a scam site, as other people earlier this year was trying to buy some of these pups. I immediately called the bank cancelling the Zelle payment. Before I did what he asked which was get a screen shot to prove I had paid. So thank goodness I was not out of any money.

Look at the website address… He misspelled Papillon! Be careful this is a Scam site…. What is sad I lost my little Papillon in August, and fell in love with “Prince”

I did get skimmed by this person the only reason I found out is because I googled the number and found this website we should all band together to get this scammer because there are so many people that have got scammed by this [censored] and there is more than one website he has up with the same dogs

Josh Freeman ripped me off! His website is now Premium Papillion Puppies. I too was told "Happy" was for sale. Sent a $500 deposit and was ghosted.

Was Leary when had 8 puppies for sale born on the same day. Papa have 1-3 puppies on average per litter. Uses VPN so email and IP address are untraceable. Bait you for more on transport of a dog you are NEVER going to see! How they keep getting away with this is beyond me. Do NOT go anywhere near these Nigerian fraudsters!

He's moved on to https://familyraisedpapillon.com/ and his name is now Josh Freeman. Funny thing is that he hasn't changed the names he uses for the puppies!

I was skeptical because of the price. Especially when the price to fly the puppy was only $250. But what actually got me was that he kept using the word "shall" in his emails. I'm sorry, but no 30-something white dude from Colorado Springs uses the word "shall".

I asked him to call me so I could make sure it wasn't a scam. It took him a few hours, but he did call. And I immediately recognized a Nigerian accent. I asked him how long he and his wife had been breeding Papillons. He said 10 years. I said, "Oh interesting, because you the URL you sent me in the email has "dachshunds for sale" in it. Silence. Then, I laughed and said...I'm so American! I didn't expect you to have a Nigerian accent from the photo you have of you and your wife on the site! How ignorant of me! Is your wife Nigerian, too?" And then I asked how he takes payment. Paypal. I'm dead. Yeah. Paypal. Nope. Total Scammer.
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.

Josh Freeman was very quick to respond on our initial inquiry about "Happy" with Family Raised Papillon of Colorado Springs. He sent photos and a video. I wasn't ready but my husband was so 3 days later when I tried to call for more information about Happy and Luna, the number had been disconnected. I tried texting and the email but ghosted on all. Of course their website said no home visits due to possible disease, and the price was only $700. Sure glad we didn't pull a fast trigger! Beware buyers!

I was not as lucky, I got the photos and videos also. I put a down payment and he sent me a bill of sale contract. I could not pick Happy up for a week and I made a deal with him to meet me halfway from Oklahoma. I kept looking at the pictures and video and kept falling more and more in love. Needless to say two days before I was supposed to meet him and pick up Happy he ghosted me and the phone number didn’t work anymore. I am mad about the money, but more sad about the puppy.

Selling bassets under a new site name: https://dreambassethoundpuppies.com.

Thought it was shady when I filled out an inquiry and it got bounced back a few times as undeliverable. A couple weeks later the dogs age did not change. Reached out again after continuing to strike out other laces and got a spam email and a text right away. (Around 9pm on a Sunday raised a [censored].) Email included cute puppy pictures and videos (without me asking for them) and a story about how they are trying to unload these dogs because they have more on the way. Searched the name, Austin Stokes, the address out of Colorado & could yield nothing to confirm this was a real person. A phone number search brought me here and I’ve never been so happy to do the leg work cross checking in my life! Thank you for these stories, I’ll continue my search at more reputable places!

I almost was ready to pull the trigger but there were some red flag including his Zelle address with his Ndeh Azinwi -juniorachimbi@gmail infor and 719-259-1498. sent pics and video of a darling puppy but kept confusing the name with the supposed name online. I was close...thankfully my background in banking kicked in and I googled information provided and came to this site. Thank you all for taking time to share your stories. You saved me the heartache. I am sorry your experienced this.

Thought I was paying for Luna and then was told I needed to buy or rent a crate for $1,490 to protect the puppy. I knew by that point I’d been scammed. I’m out $800. Please don’t do business with these losers!

I want to thank everyone for all the comments. I was about to send this scammer money but did my research. This time he goes by the name Robert. He wanted me to send him $500 deposit through cash app. His cash app info is $Rapturepeanut2002 with the name Skiilar Johnson. He called from 702-634-6478 and claimed he was in Colorado Springs, Co but his phone # is from Las Vegas. Heart broken. I was going to drive 23 hrs to pick up Amy. I'm so glad I found this site.

My mother purchased attempted to purchase a Papillion puppy from papillonpuppieshome.com. She paid $800 for Luna who was previously sold to another future puppy parent. I am pissed my mother was looking forward to this animal only to be taken advantage of. On top of all of this, he reached out again to see if we wanted to purchase a $1300 crate to send the pup to us. My mother has not received her money back.

I am sure some of the sites here: https://petscams.com/tag/papillons/, also belong to George Cooper.

Please spread the word so he does not do this to another family.

Best,
One very pissed off Daughter

George Cooper is using this email for another site homeofpapillonpups.com and this is the email address [email protected]

Same as everyone else and I do not think I will get my money back $ 1040.00. I am upset and keep asking George Cooper to send my money back. A bill of sale stating it all and no Louie Papillon puppy. I contacted local police and sent all information. Now it is lovelypapillon [email protected] plus another phone # was used to try and scam me out of more money for shipping. I will send more info. Missing Louie in NC.

I too was almost robbed by this guy. His website was taken down but I wanted everyone to be aware of his new one! https://papillonpuppiesforeverhome.com

I just sent james $1050.00 for a papillion puppy and found out about this scammer. When I confronted him he denied it. Still claimed he would send the puppy with a nanny to my door. When I showed him screen shots of the similar people he scammed. He all of a sudden ghosted me. Before that he claimed someone was cloning him and this was all not true. Since he wanted his payment for the puppy he would only go thru Zelle. We will see how this turns out my banks fraud dept is investigating. 10 day and up to get my money back. BOA will.do something about this.

I hope he burns in hell for scamming innocent people...I lost money to this [censored] ... almost 2000.00. His old website was taken down ... this [censored] has no soul

He got me as well. $1020.00 #heartbroken.
