I found a truck in Facebook market place on Friday and asked if it was still available. The scammer responded with “we are closed” so then I asked if the truck would be available when they open. Scammer responds with “open on Tuesday” I also sent messages following that telling the scammer how much I was interested and asked if he could include anymore details about veichle. He then sent me a message saying it ran good and was worth the money and even sent me a video of the truck. I replied telling him I was waiting for my banker to meet with me at 3pm and asked how late he was open till. He said 5 pm and that i prolly wouldn’t be able to make it there before they closed . I replied to message stating I could leave my home now and bring a couple grand to him and also asked if we could come to an even number agreement . He responded with telling me that the truck was suddenly on hold to another customer and that they were coming to purchase in the morning. This man never gave me the opportunity to do any such thing and never answered the phone while his answering machine and his Facebook advertisement stated he was open today and rest of week by appointment only but that someone had stopped in to give him the down payment to secure truck. I made every effort to buy truck or get any commitment from seller to assure I wouldn’t make the long drive for no reason and assured him I was very interested and coming to buy the truck . He ignored all my attempts to reach a deal and then told me it was unavailable.
