Approached for an interview with paramount HR and I had applied to 3 jobs for paramount the day before. Was asked to have the interview over skype. It was a text chat interview and from there they 'hired me' and had me complete a bunch of useless paper work for a day or two. From there they sent me a check and asked me to deposit it, then send the money to a vendor on Venmo. They then pointed me at a private account and asked me to pay over 1000$ at the time. I refused and asked for verification that he was connected with paramount. He refused to give me a number, but offered to have the admin desk call me. I refused and pressed for a phone number or office I could call that would verify he is who he says and does work with paramount. I did a little searching and found it was a common scam. No money was lost, but it was rather crushing for a new artist trying to find work.
