A private number called me and verified who I was and then gave me a case number and phone number and told me to ask for Elizabeth green. I called and asked for this person and the lady on the phone said she out of the office for the day and transferred me over to another person. This person after verifying who I was started talking like reading from a script. Told me I have a lawsuit coming if I did not pay what is in default. he said if I don't pay what is in default then I would be taken to court and have to pay a couple thousand more and court costs and attorneys fee. He said I have 24 hours to make up my mind on what I want to do and if they did not here from me I will be taken to court automatically. Then he turned around and said he is in meeting all day the next day so make it 48 hours. He said he pulled my credit report and the credit card was on there but when I pulled my free credit report it is not on there. I did a phone number look up and both numbers I received belong to a single family residence in California and one of them is a cell number. I looked up the name of business on the bb&b website and there is no such company. With bad debt with credit cards ** *** *** ** *** where I live the statue of limitation on collecting a debt is 6 years. I did have this credit card in 07 but it was closed as a bad debt and charged of in 08, so it has been over 8 years and how is someone that is in California trying to collect something that was done in Georgia. please be aware of this company........
